Collierville is a warm and dynamic community of around 50,000 nestled in the beautiful southwest corner of Tennessee. Parade Magazine sure hit the nail on the head—Collierville has an extraordinary downtown area! Take a leisurely stroll downtown and you’ll discover lots of cool eats and even a museum of Biblical History. Grab a latte or a gelato at Square Beans and window shop. Collierville is a cultured place. Every May, the Collierville Arts Council puts on the “Symphony in the Rose Garden.” This event, held at the gorgeous home of Bob and Mary Jean Smith, features the Germantown Symphony Orchestra playing classical pieces framed by a backdrop of over 1,000 rose bushes.
Also in May, the Twentieth Century Club puts on the “Fair in the Square,” an event held downtown that brings together all sorts of artisans from jewelers to basketweavers. There’s music and dancers and different kinds of entertainment. All profits go to the Collierville community as grants for education and the like.
